We are looking for a dedicated Area Response Lead to join our growing GardaWorld team and play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our security personnel.

These leaders are on the front lines of mobile operations coordinating alarm responses, mobile patrols, dispatches, and any emergent challenges as they direct their assigned patrol operatives as necessaryand take ownership of their team. Area Response Leads are expected to lead from the front displaying exceptional work ethic and integrity. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced security officers to step into a leadership role overseeing a small team and reporting directly to Mobile Division leadership. This is a unionized position.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1-2 years of security experience
  • Valid BC Security Guard license
  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
  • High level of deportment and professionalism
  • AST Security Guard License Preferred
  • First Aid & CPR Certification Preferred
  • 1 Year Supervisory Experience Preferred
  • Experience in Mobile Security Preferred

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and execute operations of your designated Area of Responsibility (AOR) with your team
  • Attend alarm dispatches and conduct mobile patrols in your AOR
  • Work collaboratively with other Leads in other AORs
  • Deploy to static sites to support security officers when required
  • Write clear, detailed reports submitted via electronic device (GTrack)
  • Operate a GardaWorld marked company vehicle in compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Operate numerous security-related electronic devices including mobile phones and radio systems
  • Report all instances of concern to Mobile Division leadership in a timely fashion
