Reporting to the Materials Inventory Manager, the Production Coordinator is a member of the Operations department.

Responsibilities include supporting the Food & Beverage departments by entering production data and compiling related reports, administering production information, preparing production documents and managing raw materials.

Key activities

  • Coordinate the collection, entry and track production data.
  • Ensure production information is complete and accurate.
  • Perform floor stock counts and verify anomalies.
  • Complete variance checks and ensure all orders are closed prior to the period ends.
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of food production batch sheets, modify formulations based on inventory and schedule changes (daily basis).
  • Collaborate to update formulations as changes occur and identify opportunities for improvement and enhancements of batching software.
  • Ensure materials for production are available.
  • Monitor floor stock for acid ranges, quantities and production schedule changes to ensure production demands are met.
  • Prepare documents, reports, written and verbal correspondence.
  • Create and modify spreadsheets used in manufacturing to track various components of the process (i.e. raw material and KPI tracking).
  • Develop administrative tools to assist in the analysis of various components of operations.
  • Provide administration coverage and support to operations team.

Required Training And Experience

  • High school diploma.
  • Degree or Diploma in Business or related field (an asset).
  • 1-3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing environment and production reports (an asset).
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office.
  • Experience with an ERP (an asset).
  • Strong basic mathematical and analytical skills.
