Status: Contract Full Time; 18 Month Duration
Salary Range: $100,172 to $125,213 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits, where applicable)

Hours of work: 35 Hours per week

Reports to: Manager, Early Years System
Team Size: In this role you will Supervise a team of 6 Analysts.
What you will do in this role:
- You will lead a team responsible for Early Years and Child Care (EYCC) Funding and Program administration. This work will focus on planning, distributing and managing all EYCC funding, including the Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) and child care subsidy.
- You will directly supervise staff through a variety of activities including coaching, motivating, developing job objectives, managing performance, change management, assigning/delegating work and ensuring quality and service standards are met.
- Your team will administer and make recommendations regarding EYCC funding programs and services and implement accountability mechanisms and support compliance with service agreements. Through this work, you will lead and supervise all aspects of funding program analysis and distribution as well as develop implementation strategies and processes to support compliance functions related to EYCC service system management.
- In leading this work, you will make recommendations to the Manager regarding the implementation of EYCC funds that align with both local and provincial direction, policies and reporting guidelines. This will support implementation of funding delivery models and funding programs while ensuring contracts are accurate and reflect appropriate funding and outcome measures.
- With strong analytical skills you will oversee the accurate collection of data from a variety of critical and complex funding streams and develop priorities for funding allocation approvals that meet local and provincial direction.
What the role requires:
- University Degree in business or public administration with at least 5 years of job related experience in Human Services program funding or related field
- At least three years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles with a strong focus on program funding oversight and administration.
- Excellent computer skills in using financial spreadsheet software at the advanced level
- Solid knowledge of legislation that directs and supports the delivery of Child Care programs and services (Child Care and Early Years Act , Education Act, the Child and Family Services Act and the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act)
- Strong contract administration skills
- Comprehensive understanding of IT project management, including the ability to communicate complex technical requirements into clear language for non-technical audiences and project team members.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills with applied knowledge of project management and change management methodologies
- Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written with proven ability to facilitate to various audiences
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

Work Mode & Job Location:
In this role, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. This means you'll have the ability to work off-site and on-site as needed, depending on operational needs at the 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton ON worksite. The frequency of on-site work may vary from week to week, depending on operational demands, which can evolve over time.
It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario. This ensures that we're compliant with all regulations and policies.
