About the Role:

Spreedly is seeking an IT Security Administrator . You'll be a business enabler, proactively identifying and architecting solutions to contribute to successful and secure scaling. We are looking for someone who, while supported, is comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of the work that they do. A portion of the work owned by Security (our Operational Support Rotation) is recurring and iterative, so we are looking for someone who enjoys the repeated and pragmatic optimizations that are needed to support a rapidly growing company and equally enjoys diving deep into our strategic roadmap. This operational rotation includes internal helpdesk and other classic IT disciplines: including this scope via a rotation helps us all stay in close step with the needs and wants of the organization and use our technical skillset and tools to scalably address issues as they emerge.

This role is open to candidates who currently reside in Greater Montreal, Quebec, and is a hybrid role with the expectation of two days a week to be spent in a coworking space in Montreal.

Responsibilities:

• Information Security and IT systems, infrastructure maintenance, and routine maintenance work, which includes system maintenance, system updates, user support
• Helpdesk support
• Software inventory management, including configuration and maintenance
• Hardware MDM administration
• IAM: onboardings/offboardings and birthright updates: Spreedly is a highly technical PCI DSS compliant company, and provisioning user accounts and ensuring resource accountability is a crucial aspect of security, compliance and IT.
• Monthly Audits
• User access reviews
• Birthrighting reviews
• SSO configuration and maintenance (100+ applications)
• Software and Hardware Patching
• Vulnerability remediation and response
• Working on roadmap initiatives, typically new systems or policy implementations, individually or collaboratively with the team.
• Roadmap items could include the implementation of various security layers such as web browser management and administration, network traffic inspection, and/or a new privileged access management implementation.
• Working on integrations within our suite of tools to automate any of Security’s applicable recurring tasks (Tools used include: Okta, JAMF & Zapier)
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical/IT experience; Experience with MacOS management and administration is heavily preferred
• Detail and process-oriented mindset
• Willingness to be a generalist and dig into new things you've never done before
• Excellent written communication and an inclination to use them to document your work as necessary
• Readiness to work cross-functionally across a variety of internal teams
• The ability to operate semi-autonomously, sorting your immediate priorities out of the ever-shifting needs of a startup environment
• Prior experience at a SaaS-based company or startup is preferable
• A holistic approach to problem-solving with scalability in mind; familiarity with Okta Workflows is a plus.
