THE ROLE
The primary duties of the Industrial Mechanic Millwright include performing repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, carrying out maintenance inspections, and reading schematic drawings.

THE ROLE
The primary duties of the Industrial Mechanic Millwright include performing repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, carrying out maintenance inspections, and reading schematic drawings.

- Install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment
- Follow company established schedules, codes and procedures
- Perform facilities repairs and provide technical support for operations staff
- Determine work procedures through analysis of equipment diagrams and drawings
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and checks
- Complete small-part fabrication using plasma cutting and welding equipment
- Transporting and adjustment of heavy equipment
- Control of pollution systems
- 3+ years of relatable experience in an industrial setting as a Millwright
- Valid Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal certification
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, particularly in grain handling and cleaning systems, and a solid understanding of welding, rigging, and mobile equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings, equipment diagrams, building plans, and blueprints
- Dry bulk material handling equipment experience is a must-have
- Ability to abide by health and safety measures
- Ability to communicate expectations and best practices
- Experience working with conveyors and air quality systems
- Problem-solving, leadership, and time management skills
