Our IPC Securities Operations team is currently growing! We are seeking an Advisor Support Associate – someone who can provide exceptional client service and support to our Advisory teams to ensure a high level of accuracy and timely transactional processing.

What You Will Do

  • Be a Fee for Service program expert
  • Work with the Advisor offices providing guidance and documentation requirements
  • Responds to Advisors inquiries on fee entries in accounts with service excellence
  • Collaborate with our custodian to ensure the Fee for Service set ups and updates are done in a timely manner
  • Monthly review of the program billable & non billable list
  • Validate monthly and quarterly billing file
  • Calculate and coordinate client account entry corrections where required
  • Collaborate with internal teams in person and external teams to enhance the client’s experience
  • Perform monthly and quarterly audit review and calculations on billed amounts
  • Assist to actively evaluate the relevance of existing guidelines and collaborate to keep department SOP up to date
  • Participate in cross functional trainings to expand knowledge on business processes and be involved in service delivery excellence
  • Participate in department trainings, projects and initiatives as assigned

What You Will Bring

  • Possess 1-3 years of experience within an operations environment, working with the Securities platform
  • Post secondary education in Business or equivalent job experience
  • Completion of CSC/IFIC is an asset
  • Knowledge of relevant Securities back-office software solutions is an asset
  • Must be extremely proficient at using the Microsoft Office suite of products, mainly MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to leverage technology to increase work efficiency and enhance the client’s experiences
  • Knowledge in Fee for Service programs and processing
  • Likes to do calculations and working with spreadsheets.
  • Relationship-building skills with a commitment to establishing long-term relationships
  • Ability to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients
  • Drives for results, demonstrates resilience and adaptability

The base salary for this position is between $43,600 - $ 65,300 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
