About The Role

The purpose of this role is to work closely with the Product Manager (s), to execute upon a strategy that will differentiate and grow the portfolio within the Canadian Market. The role will be responsible for supporting and executing the strategy as set by the Product Manager(s) and will also include direct responsibility for some products and initiatives within the portfolio itself.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Develop and maintain expert market knowledge in terms of market landscape and future opportunities
  • Analyze, interpret and report market data and trends to assist with the deployment of specific actions to improve business opportunities and minimize potential threats
  • Assist with the development of annual business plans and long-term strategic plans
  • Assist in the organization and co-ordination of product lifecycle activities and communications
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing communication programs across all elements of the communications mix
  • Provide data, information, and technical support to the sales team
  • Provide ongoing field support and responses to inventory inquiries within the assigned portfolio(s)
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Platform on product support needs as required
  • Align with the Product Manager and World Wide platform(s) to contribute to the ASR, forecast and budget cycles
  • Work with Product Manager to test and implement sales training to improve product positioning and brand
  • Support and participate in sales planning, opportunity management and customer engagements
  • Support and participate in GPO planning, RFP’s responses, pricing renewals
  • Literature and Sales Tool Creation, including approvals and French translation
  • Logistical coordination for samples, conferences, and other customer requirements
  • Other duties as assigned/required.

About You

  • Excellent analytical skills and numerical aptitude
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications - particularly Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
  • Well organized with excellent process management skills
  • Willing to travel 15% -20% of the time

Education And Experience Required

  • University Degree, Business preferred
  • Bilingual in French and English would be an asset
  • 1 to 3 years Experience in Sales or Marketing capacity preferred
  • An understanding of the use of CRM (SFDC) databases
