As the Business Partnering and Projects Consultant, you will work with business partners to lead financial analysis by supporting decision making and developing key performance indicators (KPI’s). You will act as the subject matter expert and be responsible to provide recommendations, drive insights and conduct analysis to meet business objectives.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Researching and executing appropriate financial management tools and analytic techniques that assist in achieving strategic financial management objectives.
  • Ensuring all business decisions are supported by high quality financial analysis with appropriate data, analytical tools, frameworks and methodologies.
  • Gathering and summarizing information from leaders across all levels of the organization to understand the potential problem or opportunity impacting the business.
  • Supporting the team with financial analysis and developing reports.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to business partners and other key management committees.
    • Align with business partner on desired outcome and track realization of actual outcome relative to desired outcome
      • Collaborate, seek support, and gain agreement for new concepts, ideas, approaches
      • Calculate and analyze scenarios and provide a financial recommendation to business partner
      • Proactively identify risks & opportunities
      • Provide deep analytics including scenario modelling and option analytics
    • Perform high quality financial analysis and create financial frameworks to support in business partner decision making. Ensure all business decisions are supported by high quality financial analysis with appropriate data, analytical tools, frameworks and standard methodologies.
    • Support Senior Consultant and AVP in required analysis and reporting development for the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).
    • Manage process changes related to EPMO business case financial models including but not limited to template updates and lead, in partnership with EPMO, any education of upcoming changes
    • Review business cases for defined area of responsibility in Shared Service portfolio

To Join Our Team

  • You have five years of experience in financial analysis or in a related field.
  • You have a post-secondary degree.
  • You have the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Business Valuation (CBV) designation(s).
  • You have expert knowledge of strategic financial analysis.

  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
