We are looking for two experienced Order Picker/Cherry Picker Operators to join the team at our warehouse in Mississauga on a contract basis. If you are interested in joining a fast-paced e-commerce business that has experienced tremendous year-over-year growth, then this may be the job for you!

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate an Order Picker/Cherry Picker.
  • Experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Forklift is a plus.
  • Transport materials/skids safely throughout the warehouse.
  • Practice proper loading and unloading techniques.
  • Comply with safe operating procedures.
  • Track and manage product inventory.
  • Proactively replenish product inventory as needed.
  • Put-away of pallets and product to storage and picking locations.
  • Consistently meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Replenishment of picking locations from storage locations.
  • Use an iPad and Bluetooth enabled scanner to accurately transact all inventory movements (put-away, consolidation, product slotting, replenishment).
  • Perform warehouse duties, including lifting light and heavy boxes (15-45 lbs) with ease.
  • Perform cycle counts with a very high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist with the unloading of containers, breakdown of shipments, and palletization of product.
  • Other responsibilities as may be required.

Experience, Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience working in a Warehouse/Distribution Centre with clothing experience preferred.
  • Certification operating (MHE) material handling equipment (i.e. Order Picker/Cherry Picker) required.
  • Previous experience picking using an RF scanner highly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (repetitive) with ease.
  • Candidates must present an Order Picker/Cherry Picker license (from a certified MHE training centre) at time of interview and be prepared to go through on-site testing (safety shoes and vest required).
  • Clear background check.

  • Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to safety regulations.
  • Ability to work early mornings and/or evenings.
  • Must have CSA-approved steel toe shoes.
