Title And Summary

Director, Account Management

This position reports to a Senior Business Leader (Team Lead), Issuer Relationship Management and is responsible for account management and relationship management with key issuing partners.

Responsibilities Include

Initiate high-level, interactive business conversations with key decision-makers and stakeholders within issuing client’s business to grow Mastercard volumes

Expand customer relationships to ensure alignment with Mastercard to grow business with the client

Create interest and convey value of Mastercard's products, services and programs through the use of a strategic approach

Establish quantifiable and differentiated competitive positions for Mastercard

Communicate and consult with customers regarding our payment solution products

Pro-actively identify the challenges to Mastercard’ growth and expansion within issuing client’s business and develop/propose solutions that establish mutual benefit.

Effectively utilize research tools and resources in the preparation and development of proposals.

Communicate, consult and present to senior management on all phases of the business development effort.

Key Selection Criteria

Typically, 7+ years b2b business development in financial services preferably in payments solutions.

Ability to keep abreast of the external forces which affect issuing entities, and to assess the impact of these on MasterCard's business opportunities

Mastery of account management and sales skills, including creating interest at all levels of the organization, and developing strategic business solutions for customers

Knowledge of mobile payments an asset

Market-leading communication and presentation skills.

Ability to negotiate win-win product and service agreements

Ability to process information and incorporate feedback into an interactive business conversation

Understanding of project management

Demonstrated expertise in managing, enhancing, developing and rolling-out solutions and programs.

P&L responsibility desired

Ability to integrate knowledge across disciplines (i.e., marketing, operations, and function in an unstructured environment with minimal day-to-day supervision)

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

High integrity, energy and enthusiasm

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be effective with diverse internal and external audiences

MUST HAVE FRENCH AND ENGLISH, oral and written communication skills

Engager les clients en les consultant relativement à nos produits de solutions de paiement

Identifier de manière proactive les obstacles à la croissance et à l’expansion de Mastercard au sein des activités de cartes et développer et proposer des solutions mutuellement avantageuses

Utiliser efficacement les outils et ressources de recherche pour préparer et développer des propositions.

Rencontrer et consulter la haute direction au sujet de toutes les phases des efforts de développement commercial et effectuer des présentations à ce sujet auprès de celle-ci.

Principaux Critères De Sélection

Au moins 7 ans d’expérience dans le domaine du développement des affaires B2B, idéalement en solutions de paiement.

Capacité de tenir compte des facteurs externes qui touchent les entités émettrices et à évaluer l’incidence de ceux-ci sur les occasions d’affaires de Mastercard.

Maîtrise des aptitudes en gestion de compte et en ventes, y compris pour susciter l’intérêt à tous les niveaux de l’organisation et développer des solutions d’affaires stratégiques pour les clients.

Posséder des connaissances sur les paiements mobiles est un atout.

Aptitudes en communication et en présentation.

Capacité à négocier des ententes de produits et de services mutuellement avantageuses.

Capacité à traiter de l’information et à incorporer la rétroaction dans une conversation d’affaires interactive.

Bonne compréhension de la gestion de projets.

Expertise éprouvée en gestion, en amélioration, en développement et en déploiement de solutions et de programmes.

Compréhension et responsabilité par rapport aux résultats (P&L)

Aptitude à intégrer des connaissances de plusieurs domaines (c.-à-d. le marketing, la fraude, le risque, etc., et travailler dans un environnement non structuré avec peu de supervision au quotidien).

Baccalauréat; diplôme d’études supérieures est préférable.

Grande intégrité, haut niveau d’énergie et d’enthousiasme.

Motivation, capacité à s’autodiriger.

Excellentes compétences relationnelles et capacité à être efficace face à divers publics internes et externes.

Approche axée sur les solutions et orientée vers les résultats et les clients.

De préférence, être bilingue en anglais et français à l’oral et l’écrit
