On Call In-Store Product Sampler

Job Summary: If you’re a good communicator who enjoys interacting with people and sampling food and/or demonstrating products, you will love this opportunity! This may also be a way to round out your hours and supplement your income. We are looking for a ON-CALL In-Store Product Sampler for the Vancouver territory

1- Surrey to cover South and East

2 - Abbotsford

Must have access to a personal vehicle

• Hourly Wage: starting from $18.00/ hour if called in, if not, 50 dollars flat rate per day on call days.
• Start Date: November 1st – Ongoing
• Job Status: Part time Hourly
• Total Hours: 18 hours (+ a potential 12 hours)
  
  

Schedule

• Fridays from 3 PM - 9 PM
• Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM - 8 PM
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Product Demonstrations: Organize and conduct in-store sampling events highlighting featured products.
• Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, providing product information and encouraging purchases.
• Product Knowledge: Understand the brands and products to communicate their benefits effectively.
• Setup and Cleanup: Organize product displays and follow food safety protocols.
• Sales Support: Direct interested customers to the correct aisles for purchases.
• Compliance: Follow company and store guidelines, ensuring demonstrations meet safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have access to a vehicle
• Must have Food Handler certificate
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Sales-driven with a proactive approach to promoting products
• Positive, Energetic, Lively and Charismatic
• Previous retail, promotions, or customer service experience is preferred (training provided)
• Previous hands-on experience in brand marketing and customer engagement would be an asset
  
  

Work Environment

• In-store work during peak shopping hours (evenings and weekends)
• Branded uniforms will be provided
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb
