Toronto FC is searching for a professional, proactive, and passionate individual to support our Team Operations department in the role of Team Operations Intern. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Team Operations, this position will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the day-to-day operations and administration of both Toronto FC & Toronto FC II.

MLSE’s Internship term dates are from January 6th 2024 - April 26th, 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide-range of support as it relates to the administration and operations Toronto FC’s professional teams and its contributing departments
  • Support the Team Operations department with team travel administration
  • Provide administrative support with player care matters, including but not limited to onboarding materials and processes, player transportation and player expenses
  • Assist the Manager, Team Operations with all elements of the club’s player housing program
  • Serve as the visiting team liaison for all Toronto FC II home matches and support with various gameday logistics for both home and visiting teams
  • Support the Team Operations department with all team-related invoicing and expense reporting
  • Maintain the upkeep of various player and staff information across internal databases
  • Provide support with administrative projects and research as required
  • Conduct oneself in a pr ofessional manner at all times, maintain confidentiality and take pride in the organization, it’s people and the role

  • Currently enrolled in a related University or College degree/diploma Program 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines 
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including evening and weekends.
