Reporting to the Boutique / Coffee shop supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Be active in the boutique, providing recommendation to guests
  • Handles end to end customers’ orders;
  • Sells and prepares coffee drinks and beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee and/or drinks, such as, expresso, cappuccino, latte, brewed tea, cold brews, etc.;
  • Answer customers’ questions, presents and explains the various beverage offerings;
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, baked goods
  • Keeps equipment operating by following instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by adhering to the health and safety guidelines;
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and/or proposing re-designed processes and implementing changes;
  • Maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar;
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications;
  • Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
  • Experienced and comfortable working under pressure during busy shifts.
  • Strong verbal communications and relationship building skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing and dedicated to outstanding customer experience.
  • Tidy, self-disciplined and detailed-oriented.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Follow all sustainability standards and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

  • 5 to 8 hour shifts
  • Hours of operations 6 am to 7 pm.


  • Excellent interpersonal and English/French communication skills.
  • Must possess a professional presentation.
  • Strong problem solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Retail and Food and beverage experience will be considered an asset.
  • High school diploma/equivalent required.


  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs 
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramp
