Tacten is seeking Level 1 Rope Access Journeyperson Insulators to support our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Rope Access Level 1 Insulator, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety. Position Information
- Start ASAP until the end of the year
- 14/14 rotation, 12 hour shifts
- Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada
- Camp provided
- Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
- Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.
- Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
- Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised.
- Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.
- Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.
- Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments.
- Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.
- Journeyman Insulator Certification Required
- IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain
- Current safety certifications as required
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
