Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist – Integrated Planning oversees the creation and management of all aspects of ongoing partner customer facing marketing plans for a given partner. This includes planning, organizing, leading and controlling partner integrated marketing plans while delivering on partner and CDW objectives.

What you’ll do:

Build the Partner Plan.

  • Understand partner objectives to achieve desirable outcomes.

  • Evaluate partner voice in market to identify complimentary ways of going to market

  • Build integrated marketing plans to meet CDW and partner marketing objectives and drive business outcomes.

  • Define marketing opportunities and penetration strategies for CDW and partner, by understanding the competitive landscape within targeted markets and key CDW Security, Hybrid Infrastructure and Digital Workspace practice areas

  • Work closely with the CDW sales, product marketing and solutions & services teams to identify customer and segment market needs and define CDW + partner value proposition

  • Create and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the partner plan.

  • Develop a plan rooted in partner budget.

  • Understand key KPIs of plan in order to understand definition of success of the partner plan.

  • Evaluate partner content and determine content strategy around partner objectives.

  • Be the point person on partner funding programs and understanding funding guidelines, restrictions and opportunities

  • Map out partner customer journey including on domain experience and connecting back through to sales.

  • Ensure partner event strategy aligns to plan objectives and business outcomes.

  • Collaborate with marketing team members on other important initiatives including, but not limited to, brand sponsorships, social media and event strategy.

  • Communicate and Execute the Partner Plan.

  • Ensure all key stakeholders understand objectives of partner plans.

  • Work with marketing delivery teams to ensure clear understanding of partner goals and expected results.

  • Oversee messaging of partner plans to ensure go-to-market meets partner expectations.

  • Optimize and Evaluate the Partner Plan:

  • Evaluate partner content performance and make adjustments to content strategy as needed

  • Communicate with partners and internal stakeholders ongoing optimizations to partner plans to achieve results.

  • Leverage CDW project management software, partner portals and CRM tools, such as Workfront, HubSpot and SalesForce, while maintaining campaign budgets and schedules to ensure projects are requested, facilitated and executed within project deadlines.

  • Participate in reoccurring meetings, QBRs and working sessions with partner & marketing stakeholders to build go-to-market strategy, communication plans and amplification activities aligned to CDW and partner objectives.

  • Partner closely with the CDW data and analytics team, as well as the partner, to leverage available lists and data to create compelling campaigns that drive sales, while ensuring the timely delivery of quarterly business metric review reports, with a focus on maximizing partner ROI and achieving project KPIs.

  • Provide reports, analyze data and key metrics, apply learnings to help inform strategic decisions around campaign development and timing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience OR 9 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience

  • Proven program management experience, driving initiatives from conception through completion.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a track record of successfully influencing stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • History of providing outstanding customer service to stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to take initiative and creatively problem solve.

  • Understanding/appreciation for maintaining confidentiality.

  • Record of successful organizational skills.

  • Experience in developing or utilizing strategic sales campaigns.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-changing environment.

  • Knowledge of technology product offerings and solutions.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

*Salary range: $55,000- $65,000, depending on experience and skill set
