In this fast-paced, results-driven environment, the Creditor Disability Case Manager is an integral member of a client service team proactively managing assigned disability claims by evaluating medical information and job duties and developing case management during periods of disability.

What you will do:

  • Manage a caseload of new and existing disability claims with strict turnaround and quality standards.
  • Evaluate the extent of the disability through effective verbal and written communication skills by phone or in writing to the claimant, policyholder, physicians or medical service professionals, lawyers and respond to all inquiries.
  • Use your critical thinking skills to make decisions based on the results of your overall assessment of each claim.
  • Review and research group policies for wording and interpretation.

  • Bilingualism (French, English) is required to answer calls from French and English speaking customers across Canada
  • Reliability Status security clearance - this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website.

The base salary for this position is between $48,600 - $72,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
