About the Role
Are you full of energy, creative, and ready for a role in a fast-paced, SaaS-based company? Planful is growing our Account Development team to drive new business in the mid-market. As an Account Development Representative, you'll be responsible for strategically and creatively generating interest for Planful and building pipeline through outbound outreach at mid-market level companies in the United States. You'll also work closely with marketing to act as the recipient of interest generated through account-based marketing campaigns.

About the Role

As an Account Development Representative, you'll be responsible for strategically and creatively generating interest for Planful and building pipeline through outbound outreach at mid-market level companies in the United States. You'll also work closely with marketing to act as the recipient of interest generated through account-based marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Generate, develop, qualify and set new business opportunities to increase revenue opportunities for the Account Management Team
- Proactively contact target prospects via phone, email, social networking and other creative ways
- Conduct high level conversations with senior executives within target accounts.
- Research and prioritize key accounts
- Build rapport with prospects through a consultative solution sales approach
- Identify and map prospects' needs to Planful solutions
- Maintain a solid understanding of our software solutions, competitors and industry trends
- Use tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft and more to find and contact prospects
- Report on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in conjunction with other ADRs and AMs
- Proven track record of success in the mid-market at previous companies
- Outstanding verbal communication, listening and writing skills
- Professional, energetic, positive attitude
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Success-driven with a strong work ethic
- At least 12 months of experience working in a sales development
- Operational knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus
- SaaS sales experience a plus
- Exposure to Finance industry is a plus
