What you will do
Our ideal candidate is a proven software developer and architect , and an expert in building tools for data management and system integration . You understand the domain and its challenges from a single event to the batch workloads required for AI/ML . You’re familiar with related areas like data quality , governance , and API lifecycle management . You can provide technical leadership to a variety of projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

- Drive the evolution of our data fabric
- Re search and prototype exciting new platform API and data management capabilities
- Design , build , and test a t all levels of the stack, from the frontend to infrastructure
- C onsider multiple perspectives like security, testability, maintainability, and performance
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders across the company
- Contribute to setting guidelines and good practices
- Proactively mentor others , a ctively engag ing team members to develop their skills

You’re familiar with related areas like data quality , governance , and API lifecycle management . You can provide technical leadership to a variety of projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Required
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive enterprise software development experience
- S ubstantial development, architecture , and data knowledge and the demonstrated ability to affect change at multiple levels of the product stack , within and outside of your team
- A clear, concise, and professional communicator with the ability to present complex information and demonstrate knowledge in a way that their audience can understand
- A deep understanding of data management , related tools and technologies , and trends
- Disciplined approach to software testing including unit testing and continuous integration
- Ability to work in *nix environments and in the cloud with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Good skills and experience with distributed computing architectures ( e.g . Spark, Hive)
- Some knowledge of Apache Beam , its supported execution runners, and sources and sinks
- Familiarity with data governance tools ( e.g. d ata catalogs)
- Experience working with major cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
- Informed opinions about APIM and experience leveraging APIs for third-party integration
- Familiarity with the supply chain management data domain
