Job Description

This role is all about professional relationship management and delivering top-tier financial advice to our commercial clients in the Supply Chain industry whose specialized approach aligns sales, products, risk policy, and market strategies to deliver solutions specific for individual needs. This is a senior role in which your highly developed banking experience supported by in-depth understanding of commercial solution sets, credit, and client acquisition strategies takes center stage.
What will you do?
- Apply your business development acumen to drive lead generation for new client acquisitions and deepening existing commercial banking relationships in Supply Chain and related sub-sectors spanning transportation, distribution, wholesale and manufacturing
- Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation capabilities leveraging your financial and credit acumen
- Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering superior business and financial advice, and industry specific solutions
- Collaborate and coordinate with the various RBC partners to develop and execute on fulsome client coverage strategies by bringing RBC’s full suite of capabilities to bear
Must-have
- Minimum 3-5 years commercial banking experience with a proven track record in business development, exceptional relationship management, credit structuring and stakeholder management
- Highly developed and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduate degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or related experience
- Understanding and familiarity with RBC internal processes
- MBA, CPA, CFA or other relevant professional designation
- Experience with complex sales involving long sales cycle (6 – 18 months) and stakeholder management
- Experience with sales and/or servicing Founder/Owner, Shareholder, Board and Management level
