As Structural Engineering Intern, you will be involved in the computer-aided design and production of structural designs and drawings. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally and participate in a variety of multidisciplinary projects of all sizes, in an environment where accountability, autonomy and trust are strongly encouraged.
This is an 8-month or 12-month co-op/internship opportunity.
Your responsibilities
- Assist with structural design on various projects
- Assist with site visits, inspections and field reviews on various projects in the greater Vancouver Area
- Participate in coordination meetings with clients and other consultants
- Participate in different infrastructure designs by setting up calculations and drawings
- Develop new innovative design tools
- Current student completing their bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Student must have completed concrete and steel design classes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to various practical problems
- A desire to learn and continually develop
The salary for this position ranges from $23.00 to $29.00 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.

To be admissible for an internship, your work experience must meet the requirements from your study program and/or your co-op/internship office and must be recognized by your educational institution.
