To help better serve CAA Members in Atlantic Canada they have branch offices in the following regions: Saint John NB, Fredericton NB, Moncton NB, Charlottetown PE, Halifax NS, Dartmouth NS, and St John's NL.

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting an experienced Digital Marketing Director to join their team of dedicated professionals based in either their Dartmouth NS or Saint John NB location.

Responsibilities:

The Digital Marketing Director will be responsible for planning, developing, building, implementing and managing the overall digital marketing strategy as well as managing and providing leadership to the digital marketing team. The successful candidate will measure ROI and KPIs, conduct market research, investigate benchmarks, and analyze trends, as well as stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices. Overseeing all the company's social media accounts, this individual will measure and manage online content, developing innovative digital marketing strategies using social platforms, paid advertising, SEO, SEM, and other techniques. Managing and overseeing different digital marketing channels (Web, App, Display, Email, Social etc.), this role will track SEO and Google Analytics data and make complex analysis and anticipate sales performance trends. The Digital Marketing Director will design and deliver experiences that deliver value and provide an exemplary omni-channel experience, based on established and evolving industry best practices and principles, as well as continuously evolving and improving the processes to advance the organizational digital marketing capabilities.

Requirements:

As the ideal candidate, you are a strong marketing leader possessing:

• 10 years + of experience in a senior digital role.
• 5 years + of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.
• Ideally the successful candidate has participated in the evolution of business from delivering a legacy digital presence into a contemporary, leading-edge consumer experience.
• Project management experience, including planning and control, budgeting, and business change management, along with critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be key to success in the role.
• With an in-depth knowledge of different digital marketing channels, and advanced knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices, you have a comprehensive understanding of contemporary website function and design for sales and service fulfillment.
• Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and email marketing, you have a thorough understanding of all main social media platforms and their respective applications in an effective business strategy.
• Metrics driven, you possess the ability to analyze data, draw insights and action improvement, fluency with data analytics and all website performance metrics.
• You have a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.
• With exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature.
• An interest in emerging digital innovations such as contextual Digital Design, AI, etc. along with experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics and Salesforce or similar tools will be preferred.
• MBA in marketing, digital technologies, or similar relevant field will be considered an asset.
• The ability to attend and conduct presentations, overtime, and travel may be required.
