The team manager will be responsible for the supervision of our Medical Office Assistant group. The incumbent must be able to interpret and analyze the results obtained by the employees in order to optimize the processes and the quality of the service provided. The incumbent has a significant impact on the ability to react in a timely manner to variations in order to meet the department's objectives.


Role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for the direct management of the employees of the Medical Office Assistant group
  • Perform personnel management (selection process, training, performance monitoring, evaluation and feedback)
  • Plan schedules and manage vacation replacements, days off, staff sickness absence
  • Supervise the daily progress of the service and operations
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • See to the achievement of performance and quality objectives and respect the standards related to quality control and client experience
  • Works with the team of management Operations to support answering and responding to client concerns and complaints
  • Integrate best management practices within your team and as a team manager group
  • Implement processes to make the service more efficient and facilitate delivery, follow up and see to continuous improvement
  • Act as a communicator during the implementation of process and technology changes
  • Take part in the growth of the company and see to the good management of change
  • Work closely with members of the clinical services management team of other clinics and provide them with the necessary assistance when activities allow
  • If necessary, respond and serve our customers in order to ensure optimal service delivery

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum of undergraduate degree in relevant field


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • MOA experience an asset
  • 2-4 years of experience preferred in operations management and / or personnel management
  • Experience dealing with people in a supportive and understanding way to resolve issues or concerns
