Global Liquidity & Funding Management is responsible for reporting and managing liquidity and funding risk for the bank. This includes liquidity management and strategy, stress testing, daily/monthly reporting (regulatory and management). The Bank has implemented a liquidity engine for enterprise LCR reporting to meet OSFI regulatory requirements and established Fr2052a reporting for US regulatory reporting to meet FRB’s regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Manager, Regulatory Financial Review & U.S Liquidity will be responsible for supporting daily and month end US Liquidity FR2052a production. They will also be involved in all related ongoing projects.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Support the daily and month end production of US FR2052a to meet daily T+2 3pm and month end T+10 submission timeline.
- Manage mapping tables consumed by ALRE/APEX/LIAT/Axiom process for US Fr2052a.
- Review and updating the cpty type for the net new counterparty for Fr2052a.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary to management and all US stakeholders.
- Work closely with business units and project BAs to investigate identified data gaps from daily/monthly reporting cycles.
- Propose business requirements for solutions to data issues and raise defects with the technology team if necessary.
- Establish test cases, expected benchmarks, and UAT protocols within the context of the applicable regulatory and operational frameworks for US Fr2052a reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of proper operational procedures.
- Assist in responding to regulator or management queries.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on treasury, capital markets or regulatory reporting.
- Expert knowledge of Excel, Python, SQL, VBA, Alteryx
- Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
- Prior experience with liquidity management, projects and bank’s various systems would be an asset;
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- High performance, pragmatic, detail-oriented team player able to work well in a complex, demanding and fast-paced environment.
