RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary

Assist in the functioning of the EndoCARES project, a clinical team dedicated to complex multi-organ endometriosis. The incumbent will help with patient flow through clinic, follow up, completion of patient questionnaires.

General Duties

  • Create new patient charts in different electronic medical record systems,
  • Follow up on referrals, missing reports, and assists with flow of triaged consults,
  • Assist in chart completion for clinic visits, ultrasound visits, etc.,
  • Assist in reaching patients for appointments,
  • Assist with miscellaneous research tasks,
  • Follow up on requested referrals (i.e. MRI or consulting services).

Education / Experience

Education: High School Education

Work Experience: 1 year

Required Skills

  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and organizational skills,
  • Ability to take initiative, work under pressure, manage multiple projects and priorities,
  • High level of analytical skills and attention to detail,
  • Ability to draft communications and correspondence in French and English,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English,
  • Excellent knowledge of computer applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.

Additional information

Status: Temporary, part time (35 hours per two weeks)

Pay Scale: $20.44 to $30.65/hour Commensurate with education and experience

Work Shift: Variable schedule (one 2-day week followd by one 3-day week)

Work Site: GLEN Site, 1001 boul. Decarie
