The Engineering Project Management intern will be responsible for performing, maintaining and continuous improvement for the Engineering Leadership Team. This includes tools and reports used to support Project Management, Financial Controls, Resource Management and Stakeholder Reporting. This is a critical role in supporting the Engineering Leadership team in delivering predictable and flawless execution of programs, projects and initiatives.

The Engineering Project Management intern will be responsible for performing, maintaining and continuous improvement for the Engineering Leadership Team. This includes tools and reports used to support Project Management, Financial Controls, Resource Management and Stakeholder Reporting. This is a critical role in supporting the Engineering Leadership team in delivering predictable and flawless execution of programs, projects and initiatives.

- Excellent documentation skills including proofreading to ensure accuracy of content
- Strong communication and presentation skills (listening, written, and verbal)
- Work with Engineering PMO Staff to streamline/automate weekly, monthly reporting.
- Work with the Engineering PMO team to help manage one or more projects of low complexity (technology, organizationally). Lead cross-functional, global core team(s), kick off programs, establish schedules and drive meetings.
- Present and communicate status to functional management and may have customer interaction.
- Implement change as directed in the product lifecycle process.
- Assist in planning the overall program and monitor the progress. Drive the creation, review, approval and update of the Program Plan/WBS including resources.
- Daily program management throughout the program life
- Work with the program core team to meet or exceed program objectives (Cost, Quality, Schedule, Features, Fulfillment/Continuity of Supply, Solution delivery across products & service offerings, Customer Specific Needs)
- Manage the program’s budget. Forecast actuals against planned/quoted budget
- Manage risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
- Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies. Manage and utilize resources across projects
