About the role:

DMCL Chartered Professional Accountants is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to support our Canadian Tax team. As a key member of our busy and growing team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for administrative and client support matters, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. The ideal candidate is proactive, has superior interpersonal skills, and is eager to become an integral part of our dynamic environment.

Our Administration team consists of Office Managers, Receptionists, Executive Assistants, and Administrative Assistants who work diligently to support our professionals and keep our offices running efficiently. Our clients rely on this team for seamless connections to the resources and people they need to achieve and exceed their business goals.

How you’ll make a difference: 

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Partners and team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication and correspondence professionally and courteously.
  • Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Manage accounts receivable, deposits, and data entry tasks.
  • Prepare client billings and financial statements.
  • Compile client financial packages for corporate, personal, and trust accounts.
  • Coordinate travel and meeting arrangements, including off-site meetings and conferences.
  • Collaborate with other executive assistants on joint projects and serve as a proxy for other administrative roles as needed.

Who you are: 

  • You have 2-3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant within a public practice or professional services firm
  • You are proactive and naturally adept at keeping operations running smoothly, with a strong ability to embrace both problem-solving projects and routine assignments.
  • As a dedicated team player, you seek to be the go-to individual for your colleagues, demonstrating your commitment to delivering high-quality results and supporting the Partners and team effectively.
