We are seeking a Big Data Developer with 6-8 years of experience to support our Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, cloud technologies, and DevOps, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using Java, Scala, SQL, and Unix scripting.
  • Utilize frameworks such as Spring Boot and work with OpenShift containers.
  • Implement and manage DevOps tools like Jenkins and UCD to streamline continuous integration and deployment.
  • Work with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS, to develop and deploy solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to prioritize and manage technology development in complex programs with multiple, high-priority requests.
  • Communicate effectively through written and oral channels, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Understand technology and/or financial services industry standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and tools.

Required Skills

  • 6-8 years of experience in programming using Java, Scala, SQL, and Unix scripting.
  • Proficiency in frameworks like Spring Boot and working with OpenShift containers.
  • Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins and UCD.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the technology or financial services industry.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Fraud and AML projects.
  • Familiarity with high-frequency requests and multi-priority task management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.05/hour - $46.95/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
