Deloitte Canada’s marketing team is looking for a brilliant content writer to help take our newly formed Content Hub in exciting new directions.
The successful candidate would ideally be bilingual to a written standard and have experience creating net-new long form and promotional content. Experience in a professional service, agency environment, or content shop would be a bonus. This writer will be responsible for augmenting content using GenAI tools. You’ll be writing content on a multitude of themes and topics and tailoring it for a variety of different channels, audiences, and personas.
As this is a new team, we're looking for someone who thrives in a start-up type environment and is adaptable, hungry, and willing to think on their feet.

Responsibilities
You’ll be working within Deloitte Canada’s marketing team, which delivers client-facing programs and enablers that drive measurable outcomes. We do this through our focus on strategy and key performance indicators, digital capabilities, and deep industry knowledge. While working within our creative team, your focus will be supporting a newly formed content hub. This new function is designed to produce content in a variety of formats to support Deloitte’s brand distinction and articulate our unique perspective around Canada’s biggest issues.

Qualifications
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Deloitte is fair and competitive when it comes to the salaries of our people. We regularly benchmark across a variety of positions, industries, sectors, targets, and levels. - Producing up to three pieces of new content every week
- Translating data and business insights into learning for future content
- Long form and promotional writing for a variety of channels
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up type environment
- Bilingual copywriting as bonus
- Using GenAI tools to compliment writing
- Writing in Deloitte brand voice
- Ability to take a trending topic and distil it into easily consumable content
- Lead the content development process through words and ideas
- Take ideas and cultivate them into clear, confident, and human copy
- Think beyond the ordinary to uncover innovative, engaging ways we can push Deloitte’s
- content to the next level.
- Working efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative solutions with speed and
- agility to meet tight deadlines.
- Be a guardian of global brand standards and champion Deloitte’s unique voice
- Ability to perform echo briefings and translate into content
- High level of professionalism and comfortable consulting with firm leadership
- Ability to translate research data into concise, impactful, and engaging content

- A deep understanding of what makes effective content
- Dialled into the social and digital landscape
- Proven experience delivering strong writing and editing
- Ability to turn complex ideas into easily understood language
- Creative, collaborative, detail-orientated
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a creative content writer
- Strong understanding of the creative process
- A track record of writing for a variety of audiences and channels
- Speed, agility, and great time management
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and initiative
- Interest and understanding of the design and marketing industry
- Writing samples will be requested as part of the interview process.
