As part of our EY Canada Core Business Services group, this role will support a service line, working across many areas of the business to drive operational excellence and delivery. You will support the Leaders on business efficiencies, strategies, and operational goals.

The opportunity
As part of our EY Canada Core Business Services group, this role will support a service line, working across many areas of the business to drive operational excellence and delivery. You will support the Leaders on business efficiencies, strategies, and operational goals.
Your Key Responsibilities
Operational Effectiveness
- Collaborate with the Canadian Service Line Leadership team and Operations Directors from the other service lines/practices to develop/integrate the EY Canada and EY Global strategy and priorities
- Manage planning and forecasting processes related to sales, monthly forecasting, annual sales plan development and revenue planning to ensure the right workforce plans are in place for the practice
- Recommend areas of focus and advance priorities
- Own governance processes and tools, incorporating feedback and driving continuous improvement and synergies
- Develop and manage operational processes and programs (i.e. effectiveness of existing reviews, changing agendas, adding reviews, etc.)
- Lead initiatives to support the accuracy and completeness of data for all areas in the practice
- Integrate data, reviews and share insights with leadership to drive initiatives related to operational excellence
- Advancement of Operations initiatives and programs and acting as PMO for strategic projects related to solutions and integration of markets/business development, talent, finance, marketing, resource management and operations
- Execute projects and programs for CBS and the service line(s), finding synergies and efficiencies as well as ways to enhance operational costs
- Support go-to-market programs, initiatives and events that support business objectives and priorities
- Serve as connector between markets/business development, talent, finance, resource management and operations with an overall view of all service lines
- Develop strategy, lead planning and prioritization, project tracking, communications, and adoption for key integration and operational projects
- Support development of new delivery models through competitive analysis, market enablement and operational initiatives
- Develop processes, operating guidelines, enablers, and tools for solutions to effectively run the business
- Ensure Canada is well connected globally by acting as liaison between various roles across the region
- Connect with Operations teams from the Americas and Global for alignment and best practices
- Share best practices and initiatives developed in Canada
- Participate on applicable calls and communities
- 15+ years of experience leading and driving operational excellence
- Experience owning and delivering best practices for processes, governance and reporting
- Experience driving Enterprise Business Priorities
- Executive presence, excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of markets, our business and our clients, the ability to think strategically and a proactive mindset
- Proven ability to work within a matrix structure, managing multiple stakeholders
- Leadership experience with strong ability to listen to employees and partners to create and ensure a cohesive culture
- Experience working in Strategy and Operations at an executive level
- Experience working in a PMO
- Experience working in a Global Organization
