Reporting to the VP Corporate Human Resources, as Director, Talent Development and Learning, you will be a key leader in our success by designing and delivering our approach for development, learning, succession, engagement, performance, and leadership competencies. Possessing a passion for developing people and having a strategic operational business mindset, you will anticipate and collaborate with our HR partners and business leaders to provide talent tools to enable our workforce for today and the future. You and your team should be customer centric, innovative, and focused on solving challenges practically and creatively.
As Director, Talent Development and Learning, you will:

As Director, Talent Development and Learning, you will:
- Lead a team that matures, designs and manages processes related to organizational talent management to effectively and efficiently deliver on the goals of our internal customers.
- In collaboration with HR partners in our operating companies, determine requirements and oversee the design and delivery of practical and scalable development, leadership, learning, systems and programs.
- Leverage a customer/employee centric approach while serving as a knowledgeable/credible internal consultant to business HR leads.
- Develop strategies and tools to address talent gaps for effective succession and development planning, with an inclusive mindset.
- Relentlessly focus on bringing value to the businesses we support as a service provided for the business.
- Enable performance review processes and system tools in support of employee development.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement survey processes to effectively gauge employee sentiment, identifying company-wide trends and opportunities supported by action plans.
- Utilise data driven insights to measure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives to enhance the talent development and learning strategy.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices and propose strategies to continue to advance our talent management proposition.
- Support our digitalization capability through our cloud systems enhancements for learning and performance.

Requirements
- Proven HR leadership experience with a minimum 15 + years of progressive roles in an operational business with a focus on leadership development, succession planning, performance, and employee engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, human resources, or related field or equivalent experience.
- An outstanding collaborator and team player that excels at creating practical outcomes with the needs of different stakeholders in mind.
- Exceptional communication skills to connect impactfully with diverse teams and at different levels within the organization.
- Ability to create and implement a compelling strategy with the appropriate inputs from stakeholders.
- Previous experience driving successful business change initiatives through influence and inspiring successful adoption of new processes and strategies.
