We are looking for a Demand Planner who will work closely with Category Managers to review forecast results and make forward-looking recommendations on opportunities in their respective category. You will also work with sourcing, category management, marketing, process optimization and go-to-market functions to understand forecasts and trends; and support testing, implementation, training, and adoption of the Ocado platform.

We are looking for a Demand Planner who will work closely with Category Managers to review forecast results and make forward-looking recommendations on opportunities in their respective category. Here’s Where You’ll Be Focusing
- Understand the demand for respective categories
- Manage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information to predict customer demand and provide buying team with the right information to plan to meet that demand
- Develop reports to determine priorities and areas of opportunity and confirm/communicates results; creates ad hoc reports as necessary
- Identify forecast accuracy root causes and refine process to ensure continuous improvement of the overall process
- Support the company’s long-term strategy and inventory reduction while maintaining high Customer
- Coordinate seasonal forecast and plans with merchandizing, suppliers, and distribution teams
- Propose sales forecast based on observations, knowledge, and assessments; collaborate with partners to refine forecasts
- Track projections and recommend appropriate action to achieve service level metrics
- Accountable for ensuring forecast accuracy
- Understanding of supply chain and business
- Excellent communication skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in forecast management, statistical analysis, procurement, or logistics
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Experience with fresh products or groceries
