As the Design Lead, Urban Design/Residential for this groundbreaking project, you'll drive the creation of stunning, industry-leading architectural designs that seamlessly blend aesthetics, functionality, and innovation. A Day in the Life:

In this dynamic role, you’ll lead the design of a variety of homes and streetscapes that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of future residents. You’ll develop breathtaking, next-level renderings that set new standards for excellence in residential architecture. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping an inspiring, cohesive vision for the community, ensuring every home not only looks incredible but also delivers on the promise of a vibrant, innovative living experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Visionary Leadership: You will set the bar high, designing remarkable streetscapes and elevations that elevate the entire project. Lead the creative charge, mentoring a team of talented designers, and ensure that every element reflects the core vision of quality and innovation.
  • Design Excellence: Create visually stunning, cutting-edge residential designs that push the boundaries of traditional architecture. Oversee design phases from concept to completion, ensuring each home and streetscape contributes to the community's unique charm.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with other departments, from Sales to Construction, to bring the community’s vision to life. Your input will shape decisions across the board, driving creative innovation and ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
  • Product Innovation: Lead the development of unique residential designs that set trends and stay ahead of market demands. Partner with interior teams to craft unforgettable show homes and establish new benchmarks for the Calgary market.
  • Market Insight: Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends and competitor designs. You’ll be the go-to expert, continuously pushing boundaries and ensuring the community stays at the forefront of residential design.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in residential home design and construction
  • Expertise in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire creativity in your team
