Agilus is recruiting for a Strategic Sales & Business Development Manager in the steel / metals industry in Mississauga, Ontario.
This role will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to develop new and existing business opportunities within the steel industry offering customers with customized solutions allowing more efficient production.

This role will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to develop new and existing business opportunities within the steel industry offering customers with customized solutions allowing more efficient production.
A Typical Day
- Develop and implement both short- and long-term tactical and strategic roadmap/business plans in accordance with business goals and objectives
- Identify and develop new markets and opportunities
- Development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
- Collaborate with diverse teams such as Operations and Project Managers to ensure project efficiency and profitability
- Draft and amend commercial agreements and other legal contracts to ensure the company’s full legal rights and proper protection in line with the HQ risk management guidelines
- Negotiate contract as well as terms and conditions with customers, suppliers, and partners
- Identify and evaluate risks and liabilities to the company, both internal and external
- University Degree in Engineering
- Experience working in the steel and / or cement industries.
- 8 + years of experience in sales & business development - offering product / solutions
- Experience building and maintaining relationships
- Successful history of net new business sales
- Experience drafting/ analyzing legal documents and commercial proposals
- Willingness to travel - travelling is an essential part of this role. The Sales & BD Manager must be able to travel to any location worldwide to where customers are located.
