As Senior Manager, Strategy and Initiatives, you will be responsible for driving or supporting strategic initiatives as part of the broader T&O (Technology & Operations) Strategy & Innovation team mandates. Initiatives will include building competitive intelligence, comparative assessments, and thought leaderships that will inform decision making for our technology leaders and support the broader T&O Strategy development. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic challenges, defining clear approaches, and frameworks in addition to analyzing implications to business use-cases.

Job Description
What is the opportunity?
As Senior Manager, Strategy and Initiatives, you will be responsible for driving or supporting strategic initiatives as part of the broader T&O (Technology & Operations) Strategy & Innovation team mandates. Initiatives will include building competitive intelligence, comparative assessments, and thought leaderships that will inform decision making for our technology leaders and support the broader T&O Strategy development. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic challenges, defining clear approaches, and frameworks in addition to analyzing implications to business use-cases.
What will you do?
- Lead strategic initiatives or research projects in line with the T&O Strategy that drives business value for the bank. This includes defining the scope, approach, successful outcomes, stakeholder engagement models, solution alternatives and strategic roadmaps
- Structuring and developing leading edge insights via market research, including competitive intel, baselining, technology assessment, and market trending analysis focused on technology
- Develop content to effectively communicate findings and business implications with executive leadership teams
- Work in a fast-paced environment, constantly learning, and challenging the status quo
- Build strategic relations with internal and external partners, including external research agencies, academia, venture capital, etc.
- Other duties as required
Must-have
- Strong management consulting experience - previous consulting experience with a major consulting firm
- 6-8 years of proven experience in leading and executing strategic projects, focused on strategy development
- Professional PowerPoint skills to develop content and tailor messaging for senior executives – strong storyboarding and content delivery skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong communications skills
- Good understanding of technologies such as AI, LLM, Cloud Computing, etc.
- Understanding of technology concepts - SDLC, Agile, DevOps, IT Infrastructure etc.
- Technical background in areas such as python, databases, or other similar experiences.
