- En raison des lois locales, nous considérerons prioritairement les candidats l’autorisation de travailler au Canada, et s’exprimant parfaitement en français et en anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit.
- Répondre au téléphone en utilisant un discours courtois et efficace, et recueillir les renseignements nécessaires à la commande de l’invité. Présenter la sélection de nourriture et de boissons aux invités en décrivant de manière intéressante et attrayante l’origine, le goût et les méthodes de préparation de chaque option.
- Apporter les commandes de nourriture aux invités dans leur chambre, en prenant soin de répondre aux demandes et besoins particuliers.
- Vérifier les commandes sortant de la cuisine avec la personne responsable de la prise de commandes ou avec le bon de commande.
- Apporter les plats dans les chambres rapidement de manière à assurer la qualité de la nourriture.
- Transmettre les commandes des invités à la cuisine, y compris les demandes et les besoins particuliers, en utilisant le système de point de vente de l’hôtel et vérifier les commandes sortantes avec la commande originale de l’invité.
- Coordonner la livraison rapide des plats par les serveurs du service aux chambres de façon à préserver la qualité de la nourriture.
- Fermer convenablement les factures des invités, les frais et les pourboires.
- Anticiper les besoins des invités, évaluer leur satisfaction, offrir des suggestions et répondre rapidement et adéquatement aux demandes et aux questions des invités.
- Coordonner la livraison des commandes en assurant que toutes les demandes sont reçues, traitées et commandées à la cuisine, et qu’elles sont livrées rapidement et correctement.
- Travailler harmonieusement et professionnellement avec les collègues et les superviseurs.
- Stocker et commander les éléments nécessaires.
- Aider à la mise en place des plateaux pour la livraison.
- Passer en revue les couloirs de l’hôtel pour ramasser tous les éléments en rapport avec le service aux chambres.
- Offrir un service au restaurant pour les chambres ou les banquets pendant les périodes achalandées.
- Faire état de tous les incidents ou situations inhabituelles au superviseur aussi vite que possible.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe.
- Disponible pour travailler à n'importe quel quart de travail, y compris le matin, l'après-midi, le soir et pendant la nuit ;
- 1 à 2 ans d’expérience au même poste, idéalement dans un hôtel de luxe.
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais.
- Intérêt pour le service à la clientèle.
- Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles. Ce poste exige de nombreux contacts avec la clientèle pour lesquels d’excellentes compétences en communication sont nécessaires.
- Capacité de se déplacer et de rester debout pendant de longues périodes.
- Capacité de porter jusqu’à 13 kg (30 lb).
- Le candidat idéal possédera également une connaissance solide de la nourriture et des vins, portera une attention particulière aux détails et aura la capacité de gérer plusieurs tâches à la fois.

In-Room Dining Server (On Call)

Core Responsibilities
- Answers telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest’s order, describes the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods;
- Delivers food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room;
- Check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order;
- Transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality;
- Communicates guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order;
- Coordinates delivery of items to the guestroom by In-Room Dining servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality;
- Properly and accurately close guest checks, record guest charges and gratuities;
- Anticipates guest needs, ascertains satisfaction, offers suggestions, and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests;
- Coordinates amenity delivery by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate fashion;
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors;
- Stocks and order items;
- Assists in setting tray tables for delivery;
- Walk guest floors and retrieve any In-Room Dining related items from guest floor/room;
- Provide service at the restaurant, for rooms or banquets during periods of high volume;
- Reports all incidents or unusual situations to the supervisor as quickly as possible;
- Perform any other related tasks;
- Available to work any shift, including morning, afternoon, evening and overnight;
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in the same role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment;
- Strong command of the French and English languages;
- An affinity for guest service;
- Good interpersonal skills. This position involves a large volume of guest contact and excellent communication skills are required;
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time;
- The ability to carry up to 30lbs (13kg);
- The ideal candidate will also have solid food and wine knowledge, a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask;
