Position Summary

As the Full-Time Director of Operations at Luxus, you will oversee the day-to-day management of our short-term rental property portfolio, ensuring seamless operations that drive exceptional guest experiences and strong homeowner relationships. Your role will be pivotal in refining and optimizing processes to support our expansion in the short-term rental market. This position demands a dynamic, hands-on leader with a balance of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset. As we enter an exciting phase of growth, you’ll be expected to take on diverse responsibilities and adapt quickly as the company scales.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage: Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture and collaborative environment.
- Strategic Leadership: Innovate, develop and implement operational strategies that align with business goals and drive growth.
- Operations Oversight: Ensure smooth day-to-day management of property operations, focusing on efficiency and high service standards.
- Property Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new properties, ensuring seamless integration and setup.
- Guest Experience: Ensure a high standard of guest experience by overseeing all guest related processes and services
- Property Maintenance and Upgrades: Oversee the maintenance, repair and upgrade of properties to ensure they meet the Luxus Brand standards and remain competitive in the market
- Supplier and Inventory Management: Oversee supplier relationships and inventory, ensuring timely procurement and quality standards.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all properties adhere to regulations, addressing potential risks and maintaining compliance.
- Financial Management: Manage operational budgets and expenses, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Reporting and Communications: Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership, ensuring clear communication across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field: Your academic background equips you to drive strategic success with confidence and authority.
- 5+ years of experience in senior operational management: You have a proven track record of optimizing operations and driving profitability, in complex, fast-paced environments. Experience in the short term rental industry is a plus.
- Proven leadership experience: Assertive and confident, you thrive in dynamic settings, guiding teams to exceed goals while maintaining control of the overall strategy.
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities: You adapt quickly, generate innovative solutions, and align actions with the organization's evolving goals.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills: You excel at influencing and motivating others, creating a collaborative atmosphere to drive team success.
- Proficiency in operational software and tools: Experience with property management platforms and data-driven decision-making tools to track performance metrics, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. Familiarity with short term rental software is a plus.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment: You enjoy taking on challenges and executing tasks efficiently, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
