What will your typical day look like?

The Vendor Services Financial Manager will play a critical role in working with the teams across Deloitte Technology to ensure effective financial management of technology spend, specifically related to the centralized procurement and passthrough of costs related to IT applications and services. The ability to develop strong working relationship with stakeholders and business partners as well as a high degree of analytical and quantitative aptitude are required for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Global Finance and the Vendor Management Office to manage the financials related to the portfolio of technology solutions procured from third-party vendors.
  • Work with the Vendor Management Office to determine internal allocation of costs from the portfolio of third-party vendor services.
  • Work with Global Finance to ensure accurate billing to other parts of the business for IT services consumed.
  • Direct involvement in the budgeting, forecasting and monthly review of financial performance.
  • Track actual spend against plan and/or forecast.
  • Investigate and report on financial variances against budget, including detailed review and analysis of accounting related transactions.
  • Partner with Global Finance on consolidated financial reporting and variance explanations.
  • Leverage and improve upon existing reporting on financial performance, providing leadership with greater visibility and insight into the results.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting or accounting, with preference for those with experience in Vendor Management or IT Financial Management.
  • Experience with accounting and/or forecasting systems (Enterprise Resource Planning).
  • Proven financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communicator and good listener, with the ability to craft clear and concise messages, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be very well organized and able to respond to changing priorities.
  • Proactive with the ability to work alone, as well as part of a larger team.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
