Key Accountabilities

  • Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and act is a safe manner at all times to ensure the Health and Safety of the work environment;
  • Use specialized equipment to process waste materials for disposal;
  • Sort waste materials;
  • General equipment and shop clean-up and maintenance
  • Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards
  • Communicates with supervisor throughout the day;
  • Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers and supervisors

Requirements

  • Entry level position – no experience needed, we will provide training
  • Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (e.g. First Aid with CPR, H2S, Confined Space Entry);
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly;
  • Maintain clean work space;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team and in a safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;
