This role is hybrid and requires you to be in downtown Toronto office 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Test Data Management:
  • Develop and maintain test data sets to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to understand data requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and security during the testing process.
  • Integration Testing:
  • Plan, design, and execute integration tests to validate system interactions.
  • Identify and resolve integration issues between various system components.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of new features.
  • Defect Management:
  • Track, report, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Prioritize and escalate critical issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of defects.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 - 12 years of experience in QA, with at least 4 years in a lead role.
  • Proven experience in test data management, integration testing, and defect management.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in QA tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
