Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Bower Plaza Gas Bar in Red Deer is the perfect place for you! We're currently seeking a casual Gas Bar Attendant to join our dynamic team.
Position: Gas Bar Attendant
Casual: Less than 24 hours per week
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service at the pump
- Dispense fuel and propane with precision
- Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
- Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
- Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
- Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available
