We are seeking a Fire System Technician with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team and contribute their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth.
Responsibilities
The schedule for this position is, 14 days on and 14 days off.

Purpose
We are seeking a Fire System Technician with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team and contribute their skills and knowledge to our ongoing development and growth.
Responsibilities
- Inspection and maintenance of all site fire alarm, and suppression systems to ensure code compliance
- Provide technical support for continued improvement of site Life safety system maintenance program
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance records and inspections for audit
- Perform weekly inspections and testing of fire pumps
- Keep current with all fire protection codes and regulations
- Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-free
- Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements
- Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures
- Ability to instruct and mentor junior technicians in order to assist them in obtaining their certifications
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
- Ontario Sprinkler and Fire System Installer Trade Certification
- CFAA Fire Alarm Technician
