Business Operations Associate

The business operations team is looking for a generalist to support the company in many ways while learning operational, strategic, and financial skills. You will have the opportunity to impact numerous things, such as non-dilutive funding, important contracts, project execution, and fundraising. While junior candidates will be considered, the learning curve will be steep and hours commensurate.

Responsibilities:

• (20%) Legal and research support for business operations/development: Track and help organize NDAs, Liaise with our lawyers, market analysis, contracting and IP
• (20%) Drive internal alignment within the company: prepare agendas for project meeting, take notes, and assign action items, attend team and project meetings, project management, help the OKR and annual planning processes.
• (20%) Special Assignments and Fundraising: this could include a variety of tasks such as helping to prepare a board/pitch deck or preparing a grant application.
• (20%) Administrative tasks and Finanaces: Ad-hoc administrative tasks, backup for office manager and various finance related tasks.
• (20%) Grants, SRED: Interacting with government. Handling SRED filings. Applying for grants and managing relationships.
