Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager Intern to join our Product Management team. As Product Manager you will support project planning and execution of app and software development projects throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Our offices are located in Kincardine and Whitby, Ontario. This is primarily a remote job, but students may be required to travel to one of our offices.
Compensation Range: $26-31/hr (Depending on the academic level)
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will obtain invaluable, hands-on technical experience that you can't learn in a classroom. Our team will help you to roll up your sleeves and apply textbook theory and lab experience to creating solutions for real nuclear industry challenges. Your number one responsibility is to be a driver for innovation and bring a passion for problem-solving. You'll be thinking outside the box and ready to make an impact.

You will also have the opportunity to:
- Daily Standups
- Sprint Planning
- Sprint Grooming
- Retrospectives
- Work with product managers to create the product backlog, process maps, and delivery plans.
- Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues.
- Host or participate in hackathons and workshops aimed at process simplification, automation, and technology implementation.
- Lead initiatives to support charitable causes.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- You are enrolled in a program related to Engineering, Business, Product Management, Project Management, or equivalent field.
- Experience working in a software development environment.
- Knowledge of the Agile Scrum framework and product management tools such as DevOps is an asset.
- Creativity and Innovation: The ability to develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities.
- Ability to understand business processes and communicate them effectively to others.
