The Department of Justice and Public Safety is seeking an individual in each location to perform administrative support duties for the Court Services Division in both the Judicial district of Moncton.
What you will do
Duties will include:
- Client service
- Processing of court documents
- Handling of legal documents such as court orders and correspondence under strict deadlines
- Maintaining filing systems
- Cash handling
- Computer data entry
- and other related duties that may be assigned
Work environment
- Office location: Moncton Law Courts, 145 Assomption Boulevard, Moncton
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15 - 4:30

Who you are
Communication and service to the public is an important element of this role. The ability to adapt quickly, use good judgement, multi-task, and work well under pressure is required for this position.

Technical competencies: The successful candidate will possess the following technical competency:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Need to have (their essential skills and qualifications)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of one (1) year post-secondary education in a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years related work experience
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a criminal history clearance and security clearance check.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required, please state your language capability
Candidates must demonstrate on their applications how they have acquired the education and experience for this position. Your resumé should be in chronological order specifying education and employment in months and years including part-time and full-time employment.
Operational requirements
- Working past the normal work hours on occasion.
Nice to Have (their asset qualifications)
- At least one (1) year of administrative experience within a legal environment.
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
Wage
$1,816 - $2,205 biweekly
