Leads and oversees the Finance and Vendor Governance team with focus on four main areas:1) vendor management, 2) financial management, 3) staffing, and 4) project governance
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Drive a customer-focused culture throughout their team. Leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge to help inform and drive their work
- Manage vendor service level agreements and contracts for technology vendors that support HR; work with our partners in HR, Global Procurement and Third Party Management to execute RFPs and onboard new vendors as required
- Manage the annual operating budget including financial forecasting and payment of invoices
- Manage the staffing, hiring processes and resources onboarding
- Oversee the delivery of technology projects through governance via project status reporting and status meetings CAPPM status reporting
- Support the Director of Strategy and Delivery Management with initiative capacity planning, review of HR applications portfolio, and audit pertaining to vendor management
- Ensure the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is updated annually and call tree test is executed
- Lead the quarterly Business Promoter Score (BPS) surveys in collaboration with the communications team and HR technology leadership team to solicit feedback from HR partners
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures within and across departments
- Build a high performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and, managing succession and development planning for the team
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
- Create an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills, self-disciplined and a team player
- Strong numeracy and financial acumen. Previous financial and budget analysis experience required
- Creative, self-starting, results oriented and highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills
- Proven interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Spanish language fluency an asset
