Your Opportunity:
This position reports to a member of the Facilities Maintenance and Engineering (FM&E) leadership team and performs duties found within the journeyman Carpenter trade. This includes planned and demand maintenance on all FM&E supported infrastructure and equipment including but not limited to: Doors, door hardware, locks, keys, wall protection, corner guards, base, flooring, and millwork. Please note: Classifications Under Review.

Description: The Carpenter will construct, renovate, erect and repair buildings and other structures made of wood, wood substitutes, steel and other materials. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement.
Required Qualifications: Must be a registered apprentice, an Alberta-certified journeyperson or hold a valid recognized credential. An equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Journeyman certification. Key/Lock experience. Hospital experience 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
As required.
