Job Description:

We are looking for a Security Engineer to join a fast-growing company committed to maintaining and enhancing our security posture as we scale. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Security Engineer to join our team and help build, maintain, and advance our cybersecurity framework. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft products and experience with CASB solutions, especially Netskope.

As a Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and managing cybersecurity solutions to protect our digital assets. You will work closely with our IT Operations team, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to address security incidents and ensure a secure IT environment. Your expertise in Microsoft security products and cybersecurity best practices will drive key initiatives, from incident response to policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deployment of Cybersecurity Solutions
    • Develop and implement security strategies for Microsoft environments, including Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
    • Configure and manage security solutions to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of company data.

  • Technical Documentation
    • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for security processes, policies, and solutions.

  • Administering Active Directory (Hybrid) and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
    • Manage and support Active Directory environments (on-premises and hybrid) and enforce security policies through GPO.

  • Patch Management
    • Oversee patching processes to ensure software and systems are up to date and protected against vulnerabilities.

  • Baseline Management
    • Define and manage security baselines for systems to maintain compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

  • Cybersecurity Incident Escalation and Support
    • Respond to and investigate security incidents, escalating when necessary, and collaborate with IT and security teams to mitigate threats.

  • Collaboration with IT Teams and 3rd Party Vendors
    • Work with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to assess and enhance overall security measures.

  • Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) Solutions (Nice to Have: Netskope)
    • Support CASB implementations and configurations; experience with Netskope is a plus.

  • Office 365 Security
    • Implement security measures for Office 365, including data loss prevention, threat detection, and access control.

  • Guidance for IT Operations
    • Provide ongoing support and training for the IT Operations team to improve and maintain cybersecurity standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of [insert years] years in a security engineering role.
    • Deep understanding of Microsoft security tools and solutions (Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive).
    • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management in a hybrid environment.
    • Familiarity with Netskope or similar CASB solutions (preferred).
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
