Key Accountabilities:
- Design and produce visual content (videos, podcast etc) with proficient abilities in tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro and Illustrator
- Creation of marketing materials and content, including signage, digital guides, infographics, technical illustrations and graphics
- Drafting and design/layout of articles and other content for the internal Intranet and newsletters
- Strong attention to detail to ensure assets are compliant with the corporate brand guidelines
- Undertake additional relevant responsibilities as required to support various design projects
- Help organize and plan internal events and provide day of support
- Plan and draft content for social media campaigns
- Assist with marketing activities, as needed, i.e. Market Analysis, PowerPoint Decks, drafting marketing materials, etc.
- The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university or college in communications, marketing, public relations, business, graphic communications management, media, or a related field.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week in a hybrid environment for the duration of the internship (8 or 12 months), with at least 2 days per week in the office.
- OPTIONAL: please attach a marketing portfolio (if any) to your application
- Co-op student available for an 8- or 12-month term, with at least one additional quarter or semester of coursework remaining after completing the internship.
- Completion of the second or third year of your undergraduate degree, or currently pursuing a master's degree.
- Previous co-op/internship experience is a plus.
