VP Talent and Culture/Permanent Position/Telework or Hybrid / French & English

The iA Financial Group Talent Acquisition team is looking for a proactive, energetic, and curious recruiting professional who is motivated by results and has a natural ability to build strong relationships. You will play a key role in attracting and selecting the best talent to meet the functional and strategic needs of multiple sectors within the organization.

Specifically, you will:

• Act as a strategic advisor to business partners (managers)
• Effectively target recruiting needs and adapt strategies in an effort to fill positions successfully and sustainably 
• Identify and solicit potential candidates by proactively sourcing on social media platforms and applicant databases
• Help build and maintain a list of active and passive candidates through regular communication and touchpoints  
• Participate in networking activities to increase awareness of the employer brand and help grow your network 
• Liaise with colleagues in multiple offices within the National TA team (Vancouver, Quebec and Montreal) to be effective, efficient and exchange good practices  
•  Champion the company philosophy by focusing on the employee and the client experience 
  
  

Desired profile

• The desired candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a passion for recruitment
• Post Secondary education in human resources, industrial relations or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience including 3 in an advisory role and in recruitment
• Ability to use recruitment tools and sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, social media, Indeed and other innovative platforms)
• Advanced knowledge of the English language as the person will conduct interviews with English-speaking candidates and managers and facilitate presentations to internal and external English-speaking partners on a weekly basis.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written French language is required
• Previous staffing agency experience considered a strong asset
• Previous exposure to meeting KPI (Key Performance Indicator) targets considered an asset 
• Experience using an ATS would be an asset (We use Workday!)
