As an Audit Manager, you’ll manage client accounts, deliver high-quality audit and assurance services, and act as a trusted advisor. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage audit engagements, including planning, budgeting, and reporting, to ensure quality outcomes and compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary contact for audit clients and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor junior and senior auditors, fostering a culture of growth and learning through hands-on training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to identify training needs, develop learning resources, and deliver training sessions that improve technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Stay current with Canadian accounting and audit standards, and ensure team members are up-to-date on relevant changes in legislation, guidelines, and best practices.
- Assist with business development by identifying opportunities to expand services within existing client portfolios and establishing new client relationships.
- Must hold a Canadian CPA designation
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of Canadian accounting and audit standards, regulatory requirements, and industry practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams, with a proven track record in training and mentoring audit professionals.
- Exceptional client management skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
